MMA2025: G-DRAGON Wins Seven Awards, JENNIE Takes Record of the Year, ALLDAY PROJECT & Hearts2Hearts Named Rookies of the Year

SINGAPORE: The 2025 Melon Music Awards spotlighted the artists who shaped the year, with the night led by major wins and heartfelt acceptance speeches.

G-DRAGON emerged as the biggest winner, taking home seven awards including all three top honors, Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year. His third full-length album, “Übermensch,” surpassed one million streams within hours of release, while “HOME SWEET HOME (feat. Taeyang, Daesung)” was recognised as the most listened-to song of the year’s first half. In his speeches, G-DRAGON shared that “Übermensch” was a personal mantra rather than a grand statement, and thanked his fans, collaborators, and team for standing by him throughout the year.

JENNIE was awarded Record of the Year for her first solo full-length album, “Ruby.” Since its release, the title track “like JENNIE” has shown strong longevity on Melon’s charts. Taking the stage, she expressed gratitude to her company, staff, dancers, and fans, sharing how meaningful the recognition was to her solo journey.

The Rookie of the Year title was jointly awarded to ALLDAY PROJECT and Hearts2Hearts. ALLDAY PROJECT made an immediate impact with their debut track “FAMOUS,” which climbed to the top of Melon’s chart within days. Hearts2Hearts were recognised for a strong debut year, with multiple releases performing steadily across Melon charts. Both teams used their speeches to thank their agencies, staff, and fans, promising to continue growing and delivering better music.

Once again, congratulations to all the winners and artists recognised at MMA2025 for an outstanding year of music and memorable achievements.
