SINGAPORE:BIGBANG has shared a new set of individual teaser photos for “BiiiG,” featuring G-DRAGON, Taeyang and Daesung ahead of the group’s 20th anniversary comeback.
Each member gets a completely different look this time around.
G-DRAGON appears with bright yellow hair and red glasses, wearing a blue “LIFE GUARD” top with camouflage trousers and heavy boots. One of the photos sees him standing in front of a giant cake topped with a burning “20,” while another places him inside a clear plastic covering beside an oversized boot. He also appears in a huge red heart-shaped piece, standing still as people move around him.
Taeyang switches things up with pink spiked hair, sunglasses, silver jewellery and black leather. Blue and purple lighting runs through much of his set, including a close-up and a shot featuring an aviator-style headpiece. Another photo sees him surrounded by figures dressed in white, giving his set a darker feel.
Daesung keeps his styling more understated, with blue-grey hair, layered necklaces, a white tank top and black jacket. His photos move from a black-and-white close-up to a boxing ring surrounded by punching bags. He later appears against a bright yellow background before being pictured among a crowd dressed in black.
Rather than giving all three members the same setting, the latest photos play around with different colours, styling and unusual objects while keeping the slightly strange visual direction that has followed “BiiiG” so far.
BIGBANG will release “BiiiG” on August 19 at 6 PM KST, exactly 20 years after the group’s debut.
The group will then head to Goyang for the opening of its 20th anniversary world tour, with three shows taking place from August 21 to 23.
