SINGAPORE: I.O.I has officially revealed the tracklist for their upcoming 3rd mini album, ‘I.O.I : LOOP,’ offering a first look at the sound and story behind their long-awaited return. The album consist of 6 tracks which blends fresh releases with a meaningful nod to their past, reflecting both growth and continuity.
The album opens with “IOI (Where My Girls At),” setting the tone with Jeon Somi participating in the lyrics, immediately grounding the record in the group’s identity. The title track, “갑자기 (Suddenly),” also sees Somi’s involvement alongside VVN, hinting at a more personal direction for the comeback.
Further into the album, “SPF 100+ (Summer Pop Fantasy)” brings a seasonal, bright energy, while “IF I” carries a more emotional weight, with member Yoo Yeonjung participating in the lyrics. “그때 우리 지금” continues that reflective tone, with Chungha credited, adding another layer of sincerity to the project.
Closing the album is “웃으며 안녕 (Recorded in 2016),” a track that reaches back into I.O.I’s early days, offering fans a piece of their history reintroduced in the present.
What stands out across ‘I.O.I : LOOP’ is the direct involvement of the members themselves. Jeon Somi, Yoo Yeonjung, and Chungha all take part in the songwriting process, shaping the album beyond performance and into something more personal.
