SINGAPORE — SEVENTEEN’s S.COUPS and Mingyu have officially kicked off what promises to be the sub-unit era of the year, dropping the first trailer for their highly anticipated 1st Mini Album, ‘HYPE VIBES: JOIN OUR VIBE’ across SEVENTEEN’s official social media platforms and YouTube channel.
The trailer, filmed in Los Angeles, captures the duo living freely in the moment, from laid-back mornings to vibrant scenes of music and energy. Adding a twist are two unique 3D characters, “Koute” and “Mante,” imagined as extraterrestrial beings recharging through music. At first appearing faintly, the characters grow more vivid as they join the crowd, adding a playful layer to the visual story.
S.COUPS and Mingyu have long showcased their wide musical range, from SEVENTEEN’s group albums to the Hip-Hop Team, Leaders (S.COUPS, Hoshi, Woozi), and the Wonwoo x Mingyu duo, as well as solo tracks they’ve written and composed. Beyond music, their presence in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle has made them as true icons with undeniable influence.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN continues its packed schedule. The group is set to kick off the SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_] with two massive shows at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on September 13 and 14, followed by stops at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong on September 27 and 28, five North American cities in October, and four major domes across Japan through November and December.
‘HYPE VIBES’ is set for release on September 29 at 6 PM KST, with pre-orders starting today, September 3, at 11 AM KST.
