SEOUL — JYP Entertainment has officially announced Chaeyoung’s solo debut, revealing the news at midnight on the 8th through TWICE’s official social media channels along with short-form behind-the-scenes content. Following Nayeon, Jihyo, and Tzuyu, Chaeyoung will be the fourth member of TWICE to go solo, promising a stage filled with her vibrant personality and unique charm.

The video shows Chaeyoung immersed in recording, meeting with Japanese pop band Gliiico, and freely playing the piano to the beat, building anticipation for her next chapter as a solo artist. A short greeting written beside a cute doodle reading “Annyeong?” gave fans a glimpse of her playful side. Known for her bold, trend-setting fashion choices, including statement styles like tooth gems, and her love for art, fans are eager to see what kind of music and visuals she will deliver in her first solo album.

Chaeyoung recently teamed up with Jeongyeon and Jihyo for the original soundtrack of the Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters, winning over both domestic and international fans with her distinctive vocals.
