SINGAPORE — EXO’s Chanyeol just dropped a major announcement with his upcoming 2nd mini album, ‘Upside Down.’
The first concept poster teaser was released through EXO’s official social media platforms. Even before the reveal, fans were already piecing things together after a mysterious Instagram channel appeared via EXO’s main account. Every post was captioned ‘Upside Down,’ and it didn’t take long before EXO-Ls started speculating that Chanyeol was behind the cryptic rollout.
This marks exactly one year since the release of his 1st mini album, ‘Black Out,’ which became a global hit and topped charts worldwide, including iTunes.
The teaser poster for ‘Upside Down’ feels loud, gritty, and raw. The album title takes over the layout in bold block letters filled with black-and-white visuals, almost like distorted film stills. A yellow outline makes the text jump off the page with a punch of contrast.
At the bottom, CHANYEOL’s name appears in a sharp red and white graphic font that gives off a rebellious energy. It’s intense, it’s dramatic, and it hints at a whole new side of him. This comeback is not just a follow-up, it’s a full-on reset.
