SEOUL — JYP Entertainment has officially announced that their exclusive contract with 2PM’s Junho will come to an end on April 15.
After extensive discussions, both parties have agreed not to renew the contract. Junho, who debuted as a member of 2PM in 2008, has made remarkable contributions to both the music and acting industries, showcasing his dedication and passion throughout his career.

“Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.
We would like to inform you that our exclusive contract with artist Lee Junho will officially end on April 15.
After extensive discussions, both JYP Entertainment and Junho have decided not to proceed with a contract renewal. Since debuting as a member of 2PM in 2008, Junho has dedicated himself wholeheartedly to both his music and acting careers, continuously delivering outstanding performances.
Based on strong mutual trust, we have renewed our contract multiple times over the years, sharing many brilliant moments together. We sincerely thank Junho for being part of the company’s journey and growth for the past 17 years. Above all, we deeply appreciate the immense love and support from fans who have always stood by Junho and his hard work.
Junho also expressed his gratitude, stating, “I sincerely thank JYP Entertainment for their unwavering support over the past 17 years. I will always cherish the relationships built and the encouragement received throughout this time as I move forward.”
Although our official contract has come to an end, JYP Entertainment will continue to support Junho’s new challenges and future endeavors.
Additionally, we will remain in charge of Junho’s activities in Japan and actively support any necessary collaborations moving forward.
