Seoul — On February 22, INFINITE’s Kim Sung Kyu is currently in mourning following the passing of his sister earlier this morning. INFINITE Company confirmed the heartbreaking news, stating that she had been battling an illness.
As a result, Kim Sung Kyu will not be participating in INFINITE’s scheduled concert in Malaysia, prioritizing time with his family during this difficult period.
INFINITE Company released an official statement:
“Hello, this is INFINITE Company.
We share the deeply sorrowful news that Kim Sung Kyu’s sister passed away this morning (22nd) after battling an illness.
In accordance with the wishes of the bereaved family, the funeral will be held privately, attended only by close family members and acquaintances.
