SEOUL — Actress Jung Ho Yeong and actor Lee Dong Hwi have officially parted ways after nine years of dating. Saram Entertainment, representing Jeong Ho Yeon, confirmed the breakup on the November 26, stating, “Jung Ho Yeon broke up with Lee Dong Hwi. They have decided to remain good colleagues.” Lee Dong Hwi’s agency, Company On, also confirmed the news.
The couple, who began dating in 2015 and went public the following year, had long been admired for their public displays of affection. In a 2021 interview following the success of Squid Game, Jung Ho Yeon spoke warmly of Lee Dong Hwi saying, “He makes me happy like it’s his job.” Lee Dong Hwi, in turn, publicly celebrated Jung Ho Yeon’s historic SAG Award win in 2022.
This marks the end of a long-standing relationship that had been cherished by fans worldwide.
