SEOUL — Actor Jung Woo-sung has captured significant public attention following the confirmation of his fatherhood. His agency, Artist Company, revealed on November 24 that he is the biological father of the son born to model Moon Gabi in March this year.
The announcement came just days before Jung Woo Sung is scheduled to make the appearance at the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards on November 29 which will be held at KBS Hall in Seoul.
Jung Woo Sung and Moon Gabi are reportedly began their relationship in 2022. When Moon Gabi announced her pregnancy in June 2023, Jung Woo Sung promised to take responsibility for raising the child. According to the agency, Jung Woo Sung have actively participated in the child’s preparations, including choosing the name and arranging postpartum care. Despite this, the couple reportedly had disagreements, particularly over marriage, with Jung Woo Sung maintaining his stance against marriage.
Moon Gabi addressed the situation on social media, sharing, “I wasn’t prepared for the news that came so suddenly. Rather than celebrating the joy of pregnancy, I spent it quietly with the blessing of my family. My focus was solely on ensuring the child’s birth.”

The agency confirmed, “The child Moon disclosed on social media is Jung Woo-sung’s biological child. We are discussing the best way to raise the child, and Jung will fulfill his responsibilities to the child until the end.”
