June 13 – 9 ATO Entertainment announced that actor Yeon Jung-Hoon is set to leave KBS2TV’s “2 Days & 1 Night.” An official announced from his agency confirmed that Yeon Jung-Hoon had a thorough discussion with the production team and decided to part ways.

For the past four years, Yeon Jung-Hoon has endeared himself to audiences as the show’s eldest brother, known for his charming clumsiness and ability to make viewers laugh. As he bids farewell, he will be returning to focus on his acting career. His final recording is scheduled for next week, with his agency reviewing various projects for his acting comeback.

The show’s reorganization comes amidst significant changes as Producer Lee Jung-Kyu will also be stepping down, with producer Joo Jong-hyun taking the lead role. KBS announced that Yeon Jung-Hoon, Na In Woo, and Lee Jung-Kyu will shoot their final episode this month, delivering their final greetings directly to the viewers.

Meanwhile, “2 Days & 1 Night” continues to air every Sunday at 6.10PM
