SINGAPORE: Actor Lee Jae Wook is set to begin his military service on May 18, enlisting as an active-duty soldier in the Army.
His agency, Log Studio, confirmed the news on May 4, sharing that he will enter the training center quietly, without any official public send-off.
Despite his enlistment, upcoming projects will keep him on screen. ENA’s new drama “Doctor Semboy,” which has already wrapped filming, is scheduled to premiere in June, while the Netflix series “Honey Job” is expected to follow later this year.
Since making his debut in 2018 through the tvN drama “Memories of the Alhambra,” Lee Jae Wook has steadily built his name with roles in the “Alchemy of Souls” series, “Death’s Game,” “The Impossible Heir,” “Tangeum,” and “Last Summer.”
