On May 2, TWICE’s Dahyun is finally venturing into acting for the first time since her debut. JYP Entertainment announced on May 2 that Dahyun has been cast in the independent feature film ‘Sprint’ and is currently preparing for the shoot.
‘Sprint’ is a captivating sports drama that revolves around individuals relentlessly chasing impossible dreams. It delves into the story of a person burdened by past regrets stemming from continuous failures, who ultimately finds redemption by rediscovering the value in their journey.
This marks an exciting new chapter for Dahyun as she steps into her acting career. She will be joined by actor Lee Shin-young, portraying a sprinter fueled by unwavering passion. The film is under the direction of Lee Seung-hoon, promising a compelling cinematic experience.
Amidst her acting debut, Dahyun, and TWICE members who are gearing up to release their highly anticipated fifth full-length album, ‘DIVE,’ in Japan on July 17.
