SINGAPORE: SEVENTEEN has confirmed they will be renewing their contract with their agency for a second time.
SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Joshua, Jun, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) brought their ‘NEW_’ world tour to a close with encore shows on April 4 and 5 at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. What began at the same venue in September last year came full circle, with the group completing 31 shows across 14 cities and reaching over 900,000 fans worldwide, both in person and online.
On the final night, S.Coups stepped forward to speak directly to fans, shifting the tone of the evening into something more personal. He reflected on the journey so far, sharing that the thought of a pause in group concerts led him to revisit the past 11 years. With that, he hinted at an important turning point ahead, explaining that the members felt it was only right to speak openly before their upcoming CARAT LAND.
He acknowledged the members currently serving in the military, expressing that while Jeonghan and Wonwoo were present, he wished Hoshi and Woozi could have stood on stage together as well. The moment then led into the announcement that mattered most, after careful and honest discussions, all 13 members (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) have chosen to renew their contracts together. He closed with a promise that felt true to the group’s identity, that they will continue moving forward side by side, on the same path, with the same commitment.
The renewal with PLEDIS Entertainment under HYBE Music Group reflects more than just a contract decision. For SEVENTEEN, it signals continuity, trust, and a shared direction built over time.
The members later shared that their choice was rooted in CARAT, the fandom that has grown alongside them. They expressed their gratitude openly, assuring fans that a full group return will come, while individual and unit activities continue in the meantime.
Looking ahead, activities continue across both unit and group formats, with upcoming stages already set in motion. A full group reunion will follow with their 10th anniversary fan meeting, “SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND,” taking place this June at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium.
