SINGAPORE: Singer and actress Kim Sejeong has officially parted ways with Jellyfish Entertainment after a decade, marking the end of a long-standing partnership that shaped the early stages of her career. On March 23, the agency confirmed that both parties reached a mutual agreement to conclude their exclusive contract following careful discussions.
Reflecting on their time together, Jellyfish Entertainment expressed gratitude for the years built on trust and shared growth, highlighting the memories created through her dedication to music, acting, and fan engagement. The company also extended its support for her future endeavours as she begins a new chapter in the industry.
On March 24, BH Entertainment announced that Kim Sejeong had joined the agency. The company described her as a multi-faceted artist whose strengths span both music and acting, emphasising her ability to present a wide range of expressions across projects. BH Entertainment stated that it aims to support her artistic direction while allowing her to continue expanding her career on her own terms.
Kim Sejeong first gained recognition in 2016 through Mnet’s audition program Produce 101 Season 1, debuting as a member of the project group I.O.I. Her acting portfolio includes titles such as ‘The Uncanny Counter,’ ‘Business Proposal,’ and ‘The Moon Flows Over the River,’ earning praise for her expressive performances and versatility. She received the Top Excellence Award at the 2025 MBC Drama Awards, further solidifying her presence in the acting field.
With her move to BH Entertainment, the next phase of her career is expected to build on the diverse foundation she has established over the past decade.
