SEOUL — SEVENTEEN’s DK and Seungkwan will be promoting as a new unit early next year. Pledis Entertainment confirmed that the two members are currently preparing a unit album with a January release in mind.
Both artists are part of SEVENTEEN’s main vocal line. Their vocal strengths are well known, but the contrast in tone and expression between them has become the focus. Fans are looking forward to the emotional balance and performance dynamic that will come from this pairing.
DK and Seungkwan previously worked together alongside Hoshi as BSS, producing hits such as “Just Do It,” “Fighting,” and “7PM.” With Hoshi currently enlisted, the attention shifts to the synergy that DK and Seungkwan will bring forward together.
Since debuting in 2015, SEVENTEEN has maintained a unique team structure built around unit-based promotions. Beyond the main hip-hop, vocal, and performance teams, unit projects such as BSS, Jeonghan and Wonwoo, Hoshi and Woozi, and S.Coups and Mingyu have also gained strong support.
As SEVENTEEN completes their 10th anniversary year with the release of “HAPPY BURSTDAY” and a global stadium tour, this upcoming unit signals the beginning of a new chapter. More details regarding the album and promotions will be announced soon.
