

SINGAPORE — On the morning of July 28, Cha Eunwoo officially enlisted for his mandatory military service in South Korea. A day prior, the He went live on his YouTube channel with a heartfelt message titled “I’ll be back safely,” where he greeted fans one last time before enlistment. Despite his freshly cropped hair, Eunwoo’s signature visuals remained as radiant as ever. He also shared a series of final Instagram posts, marking his temporary farewell.
Cha Eunwoo will first undergo basic military training and will then serve in the military band. For security, and safety reasons, both the time and location of his enlistment have been kept private. No official event or media coverage was held on site.
Even while serving, fans will still have many reasons to stay excited. Eunwoo shared via his fan platform, “You can still see or think about me through my album, movie, and drama. Please don’t forget me.” His post-enlistment schedule already includes the release of a solo album in September, the Netflix series “The Wonderfuls,” and the film “First Ride.” These upcoming releases promise to fill the void for fans during his military hiatus.
Cha Eunwoo is scheduled to be discharged on January 27, 2027.
