SINGAPORE — tvN’s hit weekend K-drama Law and the City is heading to Malaysia for a special overseas screening event, and it’s about to be a moment for local fans. According to industry insiders, a finale fan event will be held on August 10, with lead stars Lee Jong Suk and Moon Ga Young attending in person.

As Law and the City continues to ride the global K-drama wave, Malaysia has emerged as a key market in Asia with overwhelming interest pouring in. Over 1,000 lucky fans will be invited to watch the final episode live, followed by an exclusive press conference with the cast.

While domestic screenings for final episodes have been held in cinemas and select venues across Korea, it’s rare for a drama to take the experience abroad. This special decision was made in large part due to the massive regional popularity of Lee Jong Suk, who remains one of the most in-demand Hallyu stars.

The legal romance drama follows five young associate lawyers navigating life, ambition, and relationships within Seoul’s bustling legal district of Seocho-dong. Since its premiere, the show has steadily climbed in ratings, reaching a series-high of 6.1% with its sixth episode. With six more episodes to go, expectations are only rising as the finale approaches.

The final episode of Law and the City will air on August 10.
