SEOUL — Red Velvet members Wendy and Yeri have officially ended their exclusive contracts with SM Entertainment.
On April 4, SM Entertainment announced, “Our exclusive contracts with Wendy and Yeri have come to an end.”
The company expressed gratitude for their time together, stating, “Since their debut with Red Velvet, Wendy and Yeri have actively promoted as group members and solo artists in various fields. It has been a great joy for us to share this journey with them. We will always cherish the moments we’ve built together and sincerely support their new beginnings.”
However, SM also clarified that both Wendy and Yeri will continue their group activities as members of Red Velvet under the company.
