On June 18, BLACKPINK’s Rosé has officially signed an exclusive management contract with THEBLACKLABEL, founded by producer Teddy.
“We have signed a management contract with artist Rosé,” THEBLACKLABEL announced in an official statement on June 18. “Producer Teddy and artist Rosé, who have collaborated for a long time, recently signed this contract based on their strong mutual trust.”
THEBLACKLABEL shared exciting news about Rosé’s upcoming projects. “Currently, Rosé is preparing to meet global fans with new music, and she will work with record companies worldwide,” the statement continued. “We believe that Rosé, with her unique musical style, and THEBLACKLABEL, which champions artistic freedom, will create the best synergy.”
The label also emphasized their commitment to supporting Rosé’s artistic endeavors. “We promise to provide extensive support for Rosé to explore diverse creative opportunities in the future.”
BLACKPINK renewed their contract with YG Entertainment at the end of last year, announcing a strategic “separately and together” approach to their activities. Members Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo have since established their own solo labels for individual projects.
