On Sept 18, FNC Entertainment announced that all members of SF9 renewed their contracts with the company and will be starting fresh as an eight-member group except for Rowoon. “He will be focusing on his acting and solo career we seek out to fans to always continue their endless support to both SF9 and Rowoon solo activities,”said FNC Entertainment.
Meanwhile, Rowoon wrote a heartfelt handwritten letter to fans. “I am a little scared to write after a long time, and there was also a frustration that I couldn’t explain each big and small misunderstanding. This year, I am going to try a new challenge and new things and want to take courage since I don’t get the chance to do it before since I am a bit soft.” Rowoon wrote in his letter that he concluded, “Please watch 27-year-old Kim Seok-woo (Rowoon’s real name) live a life that he can take responsibility for, and I would appreciate it if you could watch him with a loving eye.”
