SINGAPORE: Taemin has released a new set of concept photos titled ‘Bitter Violence’ for his upcoming release, ‘PHASE 1: Soft Violence.’
The latest photos take on a raw and intense direction, mixing black-and-white photography with warmer colour shots. Taemin appears with silver hair, wearing a layered shirt and dark knit top, while other images introduce leather styling and visible marks across his arms.
Several of the photos focus closely on small details, from Taemin gripping an object tightly between his hands to the scratches and wounds seen across his skin. The contrast between the clean styling and rougher details adds another layer to the ‘Bitter Violence’ concept.
The colour shots bring a different feel to the series. Taemin is photographed against textured walls and a deep red backdrop, keeping the styling relatively simple while the lighting and close-up framing do much of the work.
‘PHASE 1 : Soft Violence’ will be released on August 31, 2026 at 6 PM KST.
