SINGAPORE: NCT 127 has released the highlight medley for their upcoming seventh full-length album, ‘BLINGY,’ giving fans a first listen to the nine tracks on the album.
Leading the album is title track ‘BLINGY,’ a hip-hop track built around distorted synths, heavy drum beats and a chanting chorus. The song also brings in elements of rage and dubstep, adding an explosive edge to NCT 127’s signature sound.
For ‘BLINGY,’ the choreography plays with contrast, moving between hard-hitting hip-hop sequences and more relaxed moments that follow the changes in the beat. A signature hand movement also forms part of the song’s main hook.
Taeyong took part in creating the choreography, bringing his own ideas into the track and adding another layer of NCT 127’s identity to ‘BLINGY.’
NCT127’s ‘BLINGY’ will be released on August 24 at 6PM KST.
