SINGAPORE: BIGBANG is turning up the anticipation for “BiiiG,” sharing a fresh series of individual visuals ahead of the group’s return on August 19.
The newly released “iii ver.” photos give G-DRAGON, TAEYANG and DAESUNG their own visual direction. G-DRAGON takes on a fiery red setting with bold, dramatic imagery, while TAEYANG stands out with pink spiked hair alongside a contrasting blue-toned full-body shot. DAESUNG shifts the mood once again, appearing as a dark silhouette against a striking red background before revealing a silver-blue hairstyle in his individual portrait.
The release carries extra meaning as “BiiiG” will arrive on BIGBANG’s 20th debut anniversary, marking two decades since the group officially debuted on August 19, 2006.
For the new track, YG Entertainment points to BIGBANG as they are in the present, with “BiiiG” expected to capture the group’s identity at this stage of their career. Rather than simply looking back at the past 20 years, the single sets its focus on where G-DRAGON, TAEYANG and DAESUNG stand today as BIGBANG.
“BiiiG” will be released across music platforms on August 19 at 6 PM KST, just days before the group begins its 20th anniversary world tour, “BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR .”
