SINGAPORE: Taeyong has officially announced his first full-length album, “WYLD.” On April 27 at midnight, SM Entertainment unveiled the project through an album teaser, marking the start of his long-awaited full album rollout.
Set for release on May 18 at 6PM KST across major global music platforms, “WYLD” will feature a total of 10 tracks, including the title track, “WYLD.” The album carries Taeyong’s strongest creative imprint to date, with the artist taking part in writing all 10 tracks, composing 9, and contributing to the overall production. The project leans into a more grounded, introspective side of Taeyong, revealing deeper emotional layers while sharpening his musical direction.
From “SHALALA” to “TAP,” and most recently “Rock Solid (Feat. Anderson .Paak)” release on April 17, Taeyong has steadily carved out a sound that is distinctly his own. With “WYLD,” he moves beyond experimentation into something more defined, positioning this release as a pivotal moment in his solo career, one that places him firmly as an all-round musician on the global stage.
