SINGAPORE — On May 20, Baekhyun’s 5th mini album “Essence of Reverie” and its title track “Elevator” have both soared to No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums and Top Songs charts proving once again his powerhouse presence in the global music scene.
“Essence of Reverie” claimed the No. 1 spot on iTunes Top Album charts in 22 regions, including Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Indonesia, the Philippines, Poland, Singapore, and Hungary. Meanwhile, “Elevator” topped the iTunes Top Song chart in 14 countries, such as Colombia, Laos, Paraguay, Saudi Arabia, and Vietnam, a strong showing that signals Baekhyun’s continued global resonance.
The mini album explores a dreamlike space where reality and idealism meet, symbolizing Baekhyun’s past and his vision for the future. The title track “Elevator” uses the intimate and fleeting nature of an elevator ride to express heartfelt emotions toward a loved one. Adding to the excitement, his first-ever solo world tour Reverie is set to launch in June.
