SEOUL — The 39th Golden Disc Awards kicked off on January 4 at Fukuoka’s PayPay Dome in Japan. Originally planned as a live broadcast, the event’s schedule was adjusted due to the tragic Jeju Airplane Crash. Day 1 of the ceremony, honoring digital song achievements, will now air on January 6 at midnight KST, while Day 2 will air on January 7 at 1.20PM. KST.

aespa made history by winning their first Daesang (Grand Prize) at the Golden Disc Awards for Digital Song of the Year with their hit track “Supernova.” The awards recognize music released between early November 2023 and early November 2024.
