EXO’s Suho is set to take on a unique challenge as part of MBC’s upcoming program, Chef of the Antarctic. Known for his talents both as a singer and actor, Suho will join the culinary research team led by celebrity Chef Paik Jongwon, traveling to Antarctica to explore the world of cooking in one of the most extreme environments.
According to daily sports report, Suho will star alongside actors Lim Soo-hyang and Chae Jong-hyeop in this exciting new show. Chef of the Antarctic will feature Paik Jongwon visiting an Antarctic base to cook for the residents there, offering a unique twist to both cooking shows and travel programs.
The program, which is slated to air in the first half of next year, shares roots with MBC’s iconic documentary Tears of Antarctica (2011-2012). The cast, including Suho, is expected to embark on their journey to Antarctica later this year.
Suho, Recently, he took on his first historical drama role in The Crown Prince Gone, which concluded in June with impressive ratings, reaching a peak of 5.1% (according to Nielsen Korea).
