On Oct 18, a news source from JBTC and multiple media sources announced that actor and singer Doh Kyungsoo from EXO would end his contract with SM Entertainment, in early November 2023.
According to multiple media sources, Doh Kyungsoo will continue his solo activities with a new company set up by a former SM manager, Nam Kyungsoo who has been with him since his debut. Doh Kyungsoo will continue both his acting, singing, and EXO activities together with his new Company SooSoo. SooSoois a company founded by CEO Nam Kyungsoo.
SM Entertainment officially announced, “D.O.’s exclusive contract with us will expire in early November. Following thorough discussions with D.O., it has been decided that he will continue his EXO activities with SM Entertainment but will proceed with his acting and individual activities through the newly established agency founded by his and SM’s former manager.”
